Home Security Camera System?
Hello, I'm willing to install a security camera at home / DVR System. Good information is difficult to find. I tempo to try the wireless X10 (easiest solution search), and also have a site I want to another (not the building), which has AC power, but I can not get a cable connection (video) plug. Does anyone have a recommendation between x10 systems and systems clustered (First Security, etc, Sams Club), cable systems, tough guy. Is there a good place to date reference book on this? I have an attic and basement, although it is difficult at my age to do much, (wiring / scan) in the confined attic space. Does anyone have an opinion on the quality of image / distance transmission system to x10? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help!
You do not say how many cameras you want install, however, there are always problems with the wireless devices, such as loss of signal ghosting, and especially someone to pick up signal and see what you see. A system is the really big WiLife system that records directly to your PC with the included software. Setup is simple and the cost is very low.
